Limited edition Bentley Continental 24 marks brand's 2017 Nurburgring 24 hours entry
Bentley Continental 24 is based on 700bhp Continental Supersports, is limited to 24 units, and gets a £215,000 price tag
Bentley has revealed a new, bespoke, limited edition Continental to mark the brand’s entry into the 2017 Nurburgring 24 hours, which takes place this weekend.
Called the Continental 24, the new coupe has been commissioned specifically for European buyers and will be limited to 24 units. It’s based on the regular Continental Supersports, using the same 700bhp, 6.0-litre W12 enabling 0-62mph in 3.5 seconds and a top speed of 209mph, but it receives a motorsport inspired visual makeover inside and out.
A pair of two-tone paint finishes mark out the Continental 24 – a ‘Black Crystal’ tone is matched with a bonnet, roof and bootlid, plus decals finished in either Monaco Yellow or St James’ Red. Alternatively, buyers will be able to opt for a single-tone paintjob at no extra cost.
Black 21-inch alloy wheels are finished with yellow or red highlights if one of the exclusive paint finishes is selected, while the door mirrors are finished in carbon fibre and matched by black brake calipers.
Inside, the cabin gets a carbon-fibre makeover. Many of the dashboard and console surfaces are trimmed with the material, as are the door panels and treadplates, which are emblazoned with each of the 24 cars’ individual number. Each seat is diamond quilted Alcantara, and the headrests feature a unique ‘Continental 24’ emblem. Finally, colourful accents wrap around the cabin, if the buyer goes for one of the two special paint jobs.
Deliveries of the Continental 24 will begin in July, with prices starting at £215,000.
