Forza Horizon 3: full car list revealed

Forza Horizon 3, the latest game from Turn 10 Studios and Playground Games has gone on sale and we have the full list of cars you can drive. If you're getting the game for Xbox One or PC, you'll have over 350 cars to choose from, including modern hypercars, classics and Aussie specialties.

The new Forza game is the series's third open-world experience, and is a spin-off from the massively successful Forza Motorsport franchise that deals with more serious track racing and simulation driving. 

Forza Horizon 3 is set in Australia, and puts you in charge of the Horizon Festival - the game's world-travelling music and car fest. In Horizon 3, you not only get to race through jungle, the outback and along Byron Bay, but you have to manage which radio stations Horizon visitors get to listen to and which racing events make it into the festival's roster.

The show car for Forza Horizon 3 is the crazy new Lamborghini Centenario. The carbon fibre-laden hypercar is available to drive from the very start, so you can get a feel of it. If you want it in your own personal car garage, we suspect it might cost quite a pretty penny in-game. First unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show, the 760bhp monster was created to honour founder Ferruccio Lamborghini’s 100th birthday.

Among the huge list of cars is the latest edition of 'Godzilla' - the Nissan GT-R. Forza Horizon 3 features the 2017 model year GT-R, which benefits from a slicker interior (not that it will affect gameplay) and a facelifted front. 

Flying the flag for Britain will be the spectacular Aston Martin Vantage GT12. A track-biased monster, it's been significantly re-engineered and inspired by Aston's success in GT3 racing.

Keeping with the Australian vibe promised after the very first announcement, the list includes a number of Holdens - including a Maloo and an FX Ute. Fans of Mad Max will doubtless be more interested in the Holden Sandman, though - it was Max's truck in the original film.

If you prefer European metal though there's still plenty to choose from. A trio of Ferraris - the Dino, 365 and FF - all join the roster, along with the Lamborghini Diablo and Lamborghini Urus Concept. The iconic Bugatti EB110 will make an appearance, too.

There’s far too many cars to go through all of them, but the full list includes supercars, hypercars, stunning classics and track-biased monsters. The game, which will be available for Xbox One and PC, will have over 150 more cars than its predecessor, Forza Horizon 2.

Other hero cars were announced in the first part of the list. The Ariel Nomad is a rear-wheel-drive off-road monster powered by a 2.4-litre engine, and should be one of the fastest cars in the game over challenging terrain. Joining the Nomad is the Baldwin Motorsports #97 Monster Energy Trophy Truck – a competitor in the Baja 1,000, and blessed with plenty of horsepower and suspension travel.

Hailing from the other side of the planet are a couple of exclusive Australian motors – the Ford Falcon XR8 and Ford FPV Limited Edition Pursuit Ute. Both are V8 powered and should prove a hoot on the track.

Fancy something a bit smaller? The Polaris RZR XP 1000 ES is perfect for tight trails, although it only has 100bhp.
