New Eli ZERO electric car apes Renault's Twizy at CES 2017
New Eli ZERO electric car revealed at Consumer Electronics Show, described as a "the new A to B"
The Eli ZERO electric city car has been revealed at CES 2017 with the brand new company designing the vehicle with more than a hint of the Renault Twizy.
The two seater vehicle which has a fully closed cockpit (unlike the lookalike Twizy) claims to be "the new A to B" offering transport solutions for modern cities and towns.
The body is made of high-tensile aluminium and with dimenions of 225cm long, 138cm wide and 155cm high, the ZERO weighs in at just 350kg.
Despite these tiny dimensions the rear wheel drive ZERO still has a boot although it's a capacity of just 160 litres.
Under the bonnet, the ZERO has a 48V battery powering a 4kw motor that'll max out at 25mph. Its range varies between 40 and 75 miles.

Inside, the ZERO isn't sparse with radio, USB and Bluetooth all standard along with the less extravagant air-conditioning, cupholders and a glovebox.
The Eli ZERO car will enter the US and European markets first, with cars expected to be on sale from late 2017. Prices will start at around $10,000 (£8,100).
