New Toyota RAV4 teased
Toyota has released a video teaser of the all-new RAV4 ahead of the Los Angeles Motor Show
This is the first teaser of the all-new Toyota RAV4, which will make its debut at the Los Angeles Motor Show later this month.
The new RAV4 will go on sale in the UK in March next year, and buyers can expect a more stylish, spacious car than the model it replaces.
In the face of competition from the likes of the Kia Sportage, Nissan Qashqai and forthcoming Ford Kuga, the teaser reveals that Toyota has given the new RAV4 a sleeker look, inspired by the latest Toyota Auris.
The headlights are narrower, sleeker and have a more technical appearance than those on the current RAV4, and the tail-lights appear more slender, too.
The blurry profile shots reveal a new upswept C-pillar, which looks similar to that of its Kia and Ford rivals.
The video also promises that the new car will “[rewrite] the rules of style” and “[embody] sophistication and strength”. We’ll discover what that means for ourselves when the LA Motor Show begins on November 28.
