MINI One/Cooper/S (Old)

Overall Average Rating - 80.53%
Position in the Top 100 cars - 99th

Given the fanaticism that goes with MINI ownership, it's puzzling to find the original version of BMW's baby at the wrong end of the Driver Power 100.

You told us the ride is dismal, and that practicality is just as poor. And while seventh in the handling class will ring true with many owners, 81st for reliability is far from impressive from a BMW group product.

Manufacturer Verdict (Position - 19th)

Good news for MINI, which has risen six places. That’s some achievement given that the MkI charted in a disastrous 99th place in the Top 100 and its successor was only mid-table.
