Mazda 2 Venture Edition

Mazda 2 Venture Edition is on sale now, and it comes with sat-nav as standard

The Mazda 2 Venture Edition has been announced by the Japanese firm. The special edition is based on the five-door Tamura, but has a host of extra kit thrown in.

The Venture Edition wears 16-inch alloy wheels, a bodykit, front foglamps and privacy glass, while inside there’s a 5.8-inch touchscreen TomTom sat-nav, Bluetooth phone connection, climate control and rear electric windows. It's available in six colours, with two shades exclusive to the Venture - Dolphin Grey and Burgundy Red.

As it's based on the Tamura, standard equipment also includes front, side and curtain airbags, remote central locking, driver’s seat height adjustment, leather steering wheel with audio controls, CD radio with Auxiliary jack and four speakers, 60/40 split folding rear seats and a Thatcham Category 1 alarm.

The Venture Edition is powered by an unchanged version of the 83bhp 1.3-litre four-cylinder engine, delivering 56.5mpg and 115g/km of CO2.

There will be 1,500 Venture Editions produced, and it’s on sale now from £12,995, which is only £1,000 more than the Tamura. Mazda has also introduced a 5.9 per cent finance rate on the 2 Venture Edition, which is available until 31 July.
