Brompton has been ousted from the top spot of our podium, but the H3L is still a great bike. It’s the same weight and has the same size wheels as the Mezzo, but there are only three gears. It’s a doddle to carry, though, there are locks to keep everything in place and you can ride it at speed without much fuss.
