Some iconic Le Mans racers were present at the show, with this Porsche 956 (driven by Jacky Ickx) being a particular highlight.
This Range Rover is a true classic car, but it really doesn't look it. The design is timeless - it came out two years after the Mark 2 Jaguar went off sale, and yet looks like it was designed yesterday.

This Oldsmobile Curved Dash from 1902 was one of the oldest cars at the show - and the only one we saw without a steering wheel!
The Maserati 250F is surely one of the prettiest Grand Prix racers ever built - and it was on display at the show. It was heard running too, with its chest-pounding exhaust note.

You might notice the Goodwood Festival of Speed sticker on this Maserati - a lot of the cars at this new event have made appearances at that world-famous Chichester event too.
The show appears to cater to many tastes, as long as they are expensive - this was one of the only lower-end classics we spotted. With TR6 values going North quickly, even this is a stretch to call affordable...

This Porsche 356 had a certificate of authenticity from Porsche in the passenger seat. With so many replica cars about, collectors will be pleased to see that!
This Porche 959 was found running up the artificial road in the venue - what a sight. As you have probably noticed by now, it's one of many, many red cars on display...

This beautiful Citroen SM drew a big crowd at its stand. It's not hard to see why - it's a totally unique car.

When do you think this Bentley was built? Well, you're wrong - it was registered in 2003, built to recreate the old-style racers in this style. It was on sale for £440,000.

One of the most memorable moments was seeing this Camel Lotus Judd Type 101, driven by Nelson Piquet in the 1980s, gunning it inside the Excel Centre's walls. Deafening and mesmerising.
