Nitrox Bluetooth hands-free kits

Price: £39.95 (X735); £44.95 (X835) Contact: 01296 394614, www.nitrox.pro

Most Bluetooth earpieces have a major drawback, in that they provide sound in only one ear. Stereo quality will obviously make your phone calls clearer – and that’s what the new Nitrox X735 and X835 promise.

The X735 simply clips on to your shirt or seatbelt. A display using new green ‘organic LED’ (OLED) technology rotates to give you caller ID and battery status; the set-up claims to offer six hours of talk time.

You press one multifunction button to start and end calls and play and pause music, while volume buttons double as track skip controls, too. You can even plug in your own headphones for better sound.

The X835 is a speaker that can be mounted on your sun visor. It offers plug and play functionality – switch it on and it instantly pairs with your phone.

Arrive at your destination, and Nitrox says you can carry on using the X835. At your desk at work, for example, the display and sound changes for a meeting room conference call.

A 12V charger is included, and talk time fully juiced is said to be an impressive 15 hours, with 400 hours of standby.
