Philip’s Navigator Britain

Price: £19.99
Main scale (mpi)/size:
1.5 / A3

Contact: Philip’s, 020 7531 8400, www.philips-maps.co.uk

The joint-largest scale on test made the Navigator Britain user-friendly, and there was so much detail that it proved a joy to work with. It had speed trap locations, too – these were shown as red circles with a number in the centre depicting the limit. There were a comprehensive 72 indexed town centre plans and 20 area maps, and the 5p per page price was good. But the Philip’s let itself down by getting our test junction wrong, and not indicating the Glasgow road extension or any variable speed cameras.
