Glass care
Give yourself a head start on frosted glass by applying an overnight de-icer – the liquid equivalent of newspaper on the windscreen. Spray on and come out to clear windows, whatever the weather. Halfords’ version costs £2.49. Also look out for rain repellent, which makes it harder for ice to stick to the glass and keeps it clearer for longer. Comma’s Pro Vision Rain Clear (pictured) works well and costs £6.49.
