8. Rain repellent

You either love or hate rain repellents on the screen.

Some drivers like the way water simply runs off, while others find the light smear that follows the wiper blades irritating.

Yet repellents can also be used on side and rear glass, keeping them cleaner longer and making ice easier to shift.

Our tests have shown Comma’s Rain Clear to be the best, but also check out Halfords’ version.
