RECOMMENDED Great-value Vertar now comes in a white pack, but as in our last test, it had to give best to Bilt-Hamber – just. Both can be used with water and starred on the paint, leaving great finishes after limited wiping. For best results, though, we reckon the Vertar needs a clay lube; its arch rival seems happy to make do with water.
