Tern Verge Duo

 Tern Verge Duo
Overall Auto Express rating

3.0

Uniquely, the Tern only has a front brake. To stop the rear wheel, you have to pedal backwards. It also has automatic gears – the bike selects one of two speeds based on how hard you’re pedalling. Both take time to get used to, but they’re effective. The catches for folding it are easy to use, but it wasn’t the comfiest, and it’s a bit big when folded.
