Michelin Great Britain 2014
Michelin’s A4-sized atlas has a flexible spine, so you can fold the map flat and use it like a spiralbound, but with less chance of ripping pages, as it’s perfect bound. There’s a fabric bookmark, and the scale is the same as our winner’s, for a similar price. You get speed camera locations and junctions are clear, but city centres are harder to read due to the use of dark colours – you’ll find yourself turning to the town guides at the back for a clearer view.
