Michelin Great Britain & Ireland 2014
We thought Michelin would just replace the flexibound spine on its other A4 atlas for a spiralbound to produce this. But no – it’s changed the map, too, and given it the test’s worst scale, at 4.75mpi. As you’d expect, that means plotting a route is tricky, and town plans aren’t detailed enough to make up for it. While it has maps of Ireland, it’s published on cheap paper, there’s no long-distance route planner, no speed camera info and the index is tiny.
