Much the same as our class champ, there was a difference in performance between these two Alite-made bulbs, with one beam rating topping 100 and just pipping the weaker X-tremeVision. You could see the difference in the tunnel, with the hotspot brighter and better focused and getting closer to the 75-metre mark on the better of the bulbs. Even at the Philips’ superb Amazon deal, the xenonmax is still cheaper.
