This Halfords sub-brand is far from sub-standard. The Exodus offers value and a vast 470-litre capacity. The gloss black finish imitates the style of more costly products, and this is a good choice for those who use a roof box rarely but want something more solid than the Thule Ranger 90. Yet if you load up regularly, you’ll want something easier to secure. There are U-shaped clips feeding into stapler-style clips. With no ratchet action, it’s harder to get a tight fit.
