For under £20, you get a lot of lamp with this Silverline, and its 30 white LEDs are pretty bright. Sadly, the long, thin beam pattern is completely predictable given the lamp’s wand shape and style, and it really jars compared to the brighter, smoother and wider outputs from newer models. The single rotating hook also feels like a throwback to earlier, less practical inspection lamps. This is simply not an easy product to position, and jamming it in a gap is often the only option. Easy on the pocket, but there are simpler designs to use.
