With their odd brown tips, these lamps from PowerBulbs only boast 50 per cent more light, but it was enough to secure second place in the budget category. Although they’re the cheapest on test, they were well built. The light hotspot was wide and deep, with good reach at the 75-metre mark. Sharper cut-off would improve results.
