These are the same Alite 120 bulbs as the Halfords Ultra Brilliance. While one of the lamps was a match, putting it in contention for the final place on our over 60 per cent podium, the second was some way off the level of performance. This was especially evident at the hard-to-reach 75-metre measurement. That’s a shame, as the better lamp gave a good, white light concentration on the kerb beyond 50 metres.
