The large buttons make this app the easiest to negotiate. OsmAnd also lets you control the quality of the recording – you can select a lower resolution, so it uses less power and memory than rivals, although it does store footage on the phone.
As with our Best Buy, data capture runs in the background and video automatically starts when you return to the app, after a hands-free call, for example. Plus, most of the customisation is done on the home screen, rather than a back menu.
