They say you can tell the quality of a power tool by its weight. Yet by that reckoning, this surprisingly lightweight pressure washer from Bosch would be somewhat poor. In fact, it’s the feistiest performer in our test, even outperforming Karcher’s winning K4. Yet as with the Makita HW111, the 130 Bar maximum pressure and 360 litres per hour max flow sound pretty mundane.

In use the machine is clever but not especially user friendly. For instance, the sprung hooks grip the coiled hose more securely than a hook. Trouble is, coiling the prone-to-kinking hose to get it in is fiddly and time consuming.
