New Renault Master E-Tech 100% electric

If you are looking to switch your vans to electric, you’ll want a vehicle which can really go the distance. New Master E-Tech 100% electric is the flagship of Renault’s light commercial vehicle range and the result of more than a decade’s experience in EVs. This means it has an excellent range of up to 285-miles*, so your drivers can go further than they might have thought. Winner of the coveted International Van of the Year 2025 award, new Master has already been recognised for its high levels of innovation and setting a new standard for others to follow.

New Master E-Tech joins the new Trafic E-Tech and Kangoo E-Tech to complete the electrified Renault commercial vehicle line up, giving customers the choice between both electric and conventional combustion-engined powertrains across all models.

Like the diesel versions, new Master E-Tech has evolved with a real step change in quality, technology and efficiency. At its heart is a new 87kWh battery mated to a 105kW motor delivering up to 300Nm of torque. Despite being a smaller powerpack than some rivals, the Renault’s efficiency means it makes impressive use of the energy, keeping your running costs as low as possible.

When it is time to plug in, new Master E-Tech can accept a full 22kw AC charge from three-phase sources as standard which helps ensure the Master is ready to go after being plugged in overnight. For an even faster top up, it will take a 130kW DC feed, also available as standard.

Aerodynamics are key to new Master E-Tech’s efficiency. The brand new design has been shaped in a wind tunnel to minimise drag, with the smallest details streamlined to improve the air flow.

This has improved the driving experience inside the Master E-Tech by reducing wind noise. The S-shaped dashboard makes the cabin feel more like a passenger car too, while comfort is further improved with seats borrowed from Renault’s Austral SUV.

The tech is also passenger car like. New Master E-Tech is the first Renault LCV to use a 10-inch OpenR Link touch screen with wireless smartphone integration. Google built-in** is available too as an option, which brings the power of Google Maps and Google Voice Assistant. The My Renault smartphone app ensures new Master E-Tech is always ready to help with route and charge planning, or even keeping the cockpit at just the right temperature.

Technology plays a key part in keeping new Master E-Tech safer too. Up to 20 driving assistance systems are available, with many standard across the range including active emergency braking, lane departure warning and driver drowsiness alert***.

Renault hasn’t forgotten that a commercial vehicle needs to work for a living either. New Master E-Tech is available in several body styles which can be tailored to your business. The increased load length can be up to 3,855 mm and volumes of up to 14.8m3 in the panel van. The sliding side door’s width is now a massive 1,313mm to provide easier access to the cargo area. The payload is up to 1,625kg****, and the E-Tech can tow braked trailers up to 2,500kg.

Those are some big numbers, but your accountant will be pleased to hear that new Master E-Tech’s price has been kept small. Despite the impressive specifications, the big Renault is positioned very competitively against its rivals with prices starting from £42,500 plus VAT and on-the-road charges. Take away the £5,000 plug-in van grant and it means new Master E-Tech could cost under £40,000.

Small running costs but a big range, bold new looks, huge load space and advanced tech mean new Master E-Tech marks a new era of electric commercial vehicles. Is your business getting on board?
