DB11 Q by Aston Martin shows off bespoke service
Geneva Motor Show to host special DB11 Q by Aston Martin that shows off brand's bespoke manufacture service
Aston Martin is preparing its Geneva Motor Show stand for 2017, and alongside the new Vanquish S and AM-RB 001 that we've already seen will be a version of the DB11 designed to show off the British brand's 'Q by Aston Martin' personalisation service.
The DB11 at the show will be finished in Zafre Blue paint, with carbon fibre details on the splitter, sills, diffuser and door mirrors. The paint has also been applied to the wheels, giving the car a very distinctive look. On the inside is black semi-aniline leather upholstery with the Q logo embossed on the headrests, along with a colour-matched luggage set.
While customers can choose from the Q by Aston Martin 'Collection' when they buy, which includes paint colours, interior styles and material finishes, there's also the 'Commission' service that gets even more bespoke.
According to Matthew Bennett, the service's general manager, "The only limit is your imagination". You can start with a blank sheet of paper and create your perfect car. It's a service similar to the ones provided by Britain's top car brands, as Rolls-Royce and Bentley also allow customers to make highly personalised choices when ordering a new car.
