Aston Martin Vanquish Carbon Edition revealed

Aston Martin’s Vanquish Coupe and Volante unveiled in new Carbon Edition guise ahead of Paris Motor Show debut

This is the Aston Martin Vanquish Carbon Edition, a special take on the two-door Coupe and Volante convertible.

Scheduled to debut at the Paris Motor Show next month, it comes in Carbon White or Carbon Black, with each finish getting black side window surrounds, 20-inch 10-spoke gloss black alloy wheels, revised brake callipers and new black headlight details.

Inside, the dash gets Herringbone carbon fibre, quilted leather seating and door inserts, plus silken Black Anodised speaker grilles for the Bang & Olufsen audio system.

Under the skin there’s the same 6.0-litre V12 engine found in any other Vanquish, which is good for 565bhp and 620Nm of torque. This sends power to the rear wheels via Aston’s new eight-speed Touchtronic III automatic gearbox, allowing the Vanquish Carbon Edition to see off 0-60mph in 3.6 seconds, before maxing out at 201mph.

Aston Martin has confirmed order books are now open, with deliveries on course to begin in October. The Vanquish Carbon Edition Coupe starts from £199,995 - £7,000 more than the standard Vanquish.
