Santander - headline sponsor of the McLaren GP team and the British GP at Silverstone - have announced plans for a London Grand Prix, and this CGI video previews what it might look like.
The event, which could cost up to £35 million to stage, would force the closure of some central London roads for up to 10 days.
In the video, Jenson Button and Lewis Hamilton discuss the prospect of a race based in the capital, passing iconic landmarks like Big Ben and Buckingham Palace at speeds of up to 180mph.
Could we see the likes of Jenson and Lewis sliding past Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square, in the not too distant future?
