Porsche 911 GT3 RSR

The original road-car-turned-racer returns – and it's meaner than ever!

Few sports cars are so closely linked to the circuit as Porsche's 911 – and the latest factory-tuned track version continues that fine tradition. With wins last year in the Nürburgring 24hr race and at the American Le Mans Series, the GT3 RSR is still the car to beat.

The new model is hoping to build on that success thanks to a significant number of updates, thanks to a 4.0-litre flat-six-cylinder engine (up from the road car's 3.8-litres), which produces 450bhp at 7,800 rpm and 430Nm of torque at 7,250 rpm.

It drives the rear wheels through a six-speedsequential gearbox, which is combined with a limited slipdifferential. Tweaks have been made to the bodykit in the search for greater stability and downforce, while the brakes are lighter. Inside, there's a new dash-mounted multi-function display with an array of shift light, along with a racing bucket seat for the driver only. The price tag? A cool  €380,00.
