Suzuki Swift 1.3 SZ2

£130.48 per month (0%APR)

Suzuki Swift 1.3 SZ2

With a new Swift hitting showrooms, there are some great deals to be had on the outgoing model. Walk into your local Suzuki dealer today, and you’ll be able to sign up to a zero per cent finance package.

Nearly every model in the line-up falls into our £150 budget, too. For instance, a 1.3-litre three-door in SZ3 trim will set you back £137.84 a month over three years. You’ll have to stump up a hefty £4,962.50 deposit, but as this is a hire purchase scheme, there’s no balloon payment at the end.

And don’t be put off by the fact that the Swift is ready to pick up its pension. Despite being on the verge of its sixth birthday, the Japanese hatch’s cheeky looks have aged well, while its agile chassis delivers plenty of driving fun. The cabin serves up decent space and is packed with standard kit, including air-con, electric windows and six airbags.

If you want the extra versatility of the SZ3 five-door, then your monthly allowance grows to £142.84. Go for the entry-level three-door SZ2, though, and your payments will be a mere £130.48 a month.

Whichever Swift you plump for, you can guarantee that you’ll be discovering one of the best kept secrets in the supermini sector. However, you’ll have to be quick, because numbers are limited.

As we went to press, Suzuki announced the same zero per cent finance deal for the new Swift, although you’re unlikely to get a discount on the list price at this stage.
