Citroen DS3 and DS3 Cabrio concepts set for Paris
Citroen's DS has teamed up with French fashion house Ines de La Fressange Paris for two new DS3 concepts
Citroen’s DS luxury arm is slowly establishing itself as an independent brand within the PSA Group, and these latest DS3 concepts further underline the distinct focus on premium design.
Created with help from fashion house Ines de La Fressange Paris, the DS3 and DS3 Cabrio benefit from distinctive new paint schemes, bespoke alloys and personalised details inside and out. For the DS3 hatch there’s a satin-finish ‘Ink Blue’ look and glossy ‘Onyx Black’ roof, while the soft-top gets an ‘Infinite Blue’ fabric roof and ‘Perla Nera Black’ body.
Both cars feature diamond-cut 17-inch ‘Aphrodite’ alloys and exclusive ‘Ines Red’ wing mirrors. Helping them stand out further is a red, white and blue 'Aéropostale' airmail signature across the back, plus Ines de La Fressange Paris logo for the central pillars.
The French-themed colour scheme carries on inside, with the DS3 and DS3 Cabrio sharing an interior focused on “personalisation and customisation”. There’s ‘Granite Blue’ grained leather upholstery, complete with white stitching and an 'Aéropostale' pattern to match the exterior. Plus, another Ines de La Fressange Paris badge takes centre stage on the Ines Red dashboard.
Both concepts will debut at DS World Paris, before making their way over to the DS stand at next month’s Paris Motor Show. There’s currently no official word on whether a production run is planned, but it’s unlikely either Ines de La Fressange Paris-styled DS3 will make it this side of the Channel.
