On the inside, the Techroad trim level boasts new upholstery, with red and grey seat inserts, red and grey stitching and either the Stepway or Duster logos embroidered into the seatbacks. All models also feature a range of red-detailed trim for the air vents, gearlever surround, door handles and floor mats.

The only engine available for the Sandero Stepway Techroad is Dacia’s turbocharged 0.9-litre three-cylinder petrol, with 89bhp and 140Nm of torque. The powertrain is mated to a five-speed manual gearbox, allowing a 0-62mph time of 11.1 seconds and claimed economy figures of 45.6mpg.

Dacia’s limited-edition Logan MCV Stepway comes with a choice of two engines. The same 0.9-litre three-cylinder from the Sandero Stepway features, along with a 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbodiesel. The diesel delivers 94bhp and 220Nm of torque, and with the same five-speed manual transmission it claims a 0-62mph time of 13 seconds and an economy figure of 62.7mpg.

Four drivetrain choices are available for the Duster Techroad. Kicking off the range are Dacia's front-wheel-drive four-cylinder TCe 130 and TCe 150 petrol units, with 127bhp and 145bhp respectively. Both are mated to a six-speed manual gearbox, and both claim official economy of 41.5mpg.

Two diesel drivetrains are also available in the Duster Techroad. Both use the same 145bhp four-cylinder dCi 115 engine, with buyers being given the choice of front or four-wheel drive. Two-wheel-drive models start from £17,360 and offer claimed economy of 57.6mpg, while the all-wheel-drive variant commands a premium of £2,000 and claims 48.7mpg.
