Dacia reveals new Summit special editions ahead of Geneva

Summit special edition versions of Duster, Sandero Stepway and Logan MCV Stepway introduce exclusive design tweaks

Dacia Sandero Stepway Summit

Dacia has revealed a trio of new special edition models to be uncovered in full at the 2017 Geneva Motor Show.

The Summit special edition cars are new versions of the Duster, Sandero Stepway and the new Logan MCV Stepway – a chunkier, tougher version of the firm’s Logan MCV estate.

These special edition models are marked out by very minor unique design tweaks, and are based on their respective highest trim levels. The Duster and the Logan MCV Stepway get a new paint colour option called Nordic Grey, while the Sandero Stepway gets the new dark grey tint alongside a brighter hue – Magma Orange. All cars get 16-inch alloy wheels as standard, with the wheels fitted to the Duster Summit featuring a black diamond cut effect.

In the cabin, these special edition models get exclusive dual-material upholstery. The seats are marked out by orange piping, top-stitching and nameplate embroidery.

Orange trim detailing is also found on the centre console and air-conditioning vent surrounds, while the carpet mats get orange stitching too.

The cars will be offered with the same range of engines already available on the range-topping models they’re based on, with the same level of cabin technology as well.

Pricing for the Dacia Summit models will be revealed closer to when the cars hit showrooms this spring.
