Fiat 500X goes bling with Mopar custom options

Mopar has announced a raft of new customisation options for the Fiat 500X crossover from bonnet stripes to chrome add-ons

Fiat 500X owners will now be able to take advantage of over 100 personalisation accessories, ranging from new 18-inch alloy wheels offered in various colours and materials (starting at £816 for a set of four), to door mirror caps (£61 per pair). A series of new decals are also now available for the side, bonnet and roof of the car.

The brand also offers customers the opportunity to combine and save money on accessories with a range of six ‘Xtra Pack’ bundles. The regular Xtra Pack will be offered in white, red bronze and beige, and will provide bonnet and roof stripes, mirror covers, and moulding inserts all for £305 – representing a £100 saving over the individual costs of the same accessories.

Fiat hopes its new Chrome Xtra and Black Xtra Packs will appeal to 500X owners seeking a ‘classic look’ for their car. The Chrome Xtra Pack provides chrome-effect mirror covers, door moulding inserts, chrome bonnet moulding and chrome fog light trims. The Black Xtra Pack offers a black bonnet, black roof decals and a set of black mirror caps.

Accessories have also been developed with a more practical approach in mind. A two-bike carrier system (£137) can be mounted on a detachable towbar (£360), and roof bars (£137) can also be specified.

These accessories are also offered in Packs. The Winter Pack and adds custom fit roof bars that can carry four skis or two snowboards, and a moulded boot protector. A Summer Pack also makes use of the roof bars, but with a bike carrier and provides a cargo tray to prevent items in the boot from sliding around. At £235, this Summer Xtra Pack costs £78 less as a bundle than the accessories combined.

The Mopar 500X range of accessories is now available to order now from Fiat dealerships nationwide.
