New range-topping Ford Fiesta ST Performance Edition revealed
The new Ford Fiesta ST Performance Edition features weight-saving and suspension tweaks, and will be limited to just 600 units
A new limited Ford Fiesta ST Performance Edition has been revealed. It will be restricted to just 600 units when it reaches the UK market in September, with each model featuring a range of Ford Performance upgrades and a lairy orange paint job. Prices will carry a £3,000 premium over the range-topping Fiesta ST-3, rising to around £25,500.
Performance upgrades over the standard ST-3 include a fresh set of lightweight 18-inch alloy wheels and revised, manually-adjustable coilover suspension. The new alloy wheels are made from flow-formed (rather than cast) aluminium, which Ford claims increases the strength of the wheel, while shaving seven kilogrammes off the model’s kerbweight.

The Fiesta ST Performance Edition’s new coilovers lower its ride height by around 15mm at the front and roughly 10mm at the rear. The manufacturer says the new suspension has been developed with tuning enthusiasts in mind, and offers 12 selectable bump stiffness settings and 16 rebound intensity settings.
Standard equipment includes LED headlamps, Recaro bucket seats, a 6.5-inch infotainment system and a Bang & Olufsen premium stereo. The new limited-run Fiesta ST also comes fitted with Ford’s ‘Performance Pack,’ which adds a Quaife limited-slip differential, launch control and a shift light indicator.
Final pricing information for the Ford Fiesta ST Performance Edition will be announced in May, with sales starting in June.
