Honda Jazz price: new supermini to cost from £13,495
Honda announces pricing and specs for its all-new Jazz supermini, which goes on sale in the UK in September 2015
Honda has finally confirmed pricing and spec details for its third-generation Jazz supermini. The new Ford Fiesta rival will go on sale this September priced from £13,495, with four trim levels and only one engine choice at launch.
The entry-level pricetag gets you an 'S' trim car with the solitary engine choice: a 1.3-litre i-VTEC petrol engine with 101bhp. It's capable of 56.5mpg and emits 116g/km of CO2 with the standard six-speed manual, but for an extra £1,100 you can have a newly-developed CVT automatic 'box which improves those stats to 61.4mpg and 106g/km.
Standard kit for the base model includes air-con, cruise control with speed limiter, auto lights and 'City-Brake Active' emergency auto-braking to avoid-low speed collisions. Step up to SE spec, at £14,595, and you get front and rear parking sensors, electric heated door mirrors, 15-inch alloys and Honda's Driver Assistance pack. You also get the Android-based Honda Connect seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system, with smartphone apps and web browing.
The Driver Assistance pack brings a healthy selection of active safety kit, including Forward Collision Warning, Traffic Sign Recognition, Intelligent Speed Limiter, Lane Departure Warning and auto high-beam. Flagship EX trim kicks off at £15,715 and adds to that keyless start, climate control, an audio upgrade, 16-inch alloys and front fogs. Integrated Garmin sat-nav is optional on SE or EX models.
