The Q30 is a refined cruiser, and is at its best when taking it easy.
The suspension has been tuned for comfort, while wind and road noise is well surpressed.

The 2.1-litre diesel engine endows the Q30 with 168bhp - enough to get it from 0-62mph in 8.5 seconds.
The Q30 isn't bad in corners, but the steering lacks feel.

The model tested here costs £31,180, which isn't cheap, but it's well equipped.
Inside, the connection with Mercedes is more apparent, but there are enough unique touches to stop the Q30 from feeling like an A-Class clone.
