New Mercedes GLC review - pictures

The GLC will rival the Audi Q5 and the BMW X3. 

The UK will only get the GLC with diesel engines as opposed to China, Europe and the US who will also get Hybrid versions. 

The feels upmarket with top-notch materials and well finished surfaces. 

The rear space is pretty good with plenty of legroom and headroom for passengers. 

The boot space is 550-litres, which is line with the competitors and will expand to 1,600-litres with the seats folded down. 

The driving experience in the GLC has been designed on comfort and refinement. 

Thanks to the four-wheel drive system the GLC can still cut it when it comes to the rough stuff. 

To aid with the ride quality, all models will recieve adaptive dampers that will adapt to the road the driver is driving on. 

Diesel engines will pack enough of a punch to carryout overtaking. 

There's not much differances in perfomance between the GLC 220d and the GLC 250d, how ever the higher-powered car will be more fun to drive thanks to a 31:69 torque split. 

The Mercedes will be economical with both diesel engines returning 50mpg. 

A hybrid version is in the pipeline, but will not hit the UK until late 2016.
