Peugeot 3008 facelift revealed
Peugeot 3008 crossover gets a mid-life facelift ahead of its debut at the Frankfurt show
These are the first pictures of the revised Peugeot 3008 and 3008 HYbrid crossover, featuring tweaked exterior styling and more kit as standard. It will make its debut at the Frankfurt Motor Show next month alongside the Peugeot 208 HYbrid FE.
Most noticeable changes include the revised grille with chrome inserts, which break up the current models bulky front end. Fog lights imbedded lower down in the grille as well as LED headlights and restyled alloy wheels make up the exterior modifications.
Inside, Peugeot has made the interior more driver focused with angled vents and a passenger grab handle. Updated switchgear and an extended leather package are also noe available.
There are no changes under the bonnet, so that means the same six engines and three six-speed gearboxes will be available. Petrol engines are made up of 120bhp or 155bhp 1.6-litre units, while the diesel range consists of a 115bhp 1.6-litre engine or a 150bhp and 163bhp 2.0-litre diesel engine.
The 3008 HYbrid is fitted with the most powerful 163bhp 2.0-litre engine and twinned with a 37bhp electric motor and ETG6 gearbox, meaning 83mpg and emissions of only 88g/km of CO2.
Expected to hit showrooms at the end of the year, prices for the Peugeot 3008 will remain the same as the current model, starting at £17,000 and rising to £28,500 for the range-topping diesel hybrid model.
