Racy look for new Peugeot 3008 GT
Coupe Franche livery available for new Peugeot 3008 crossover in new GT and GT Line specifications
We've already seen the new Peugeot 3008, which has gone from dumpy MPV to distinctive SUV - but now there's an even racier-looking version with new GT and GT Line variants getting the option of a Coupe Franche livery, previously seen on the Peugeot 208 and 308 GTi hot hatches.
This isn't a hot version of the 3008, though, but rather a high-spec model. The GT is fitted with a 2.0-litre diesel with 178bhp and a six-speed automatic gearbox, while the GT Line version offers many of the specification options from the GT but with more engine and gearbox choices.
The GT Line gets LED headlights and scrolling indicators, 18-inch alloy wheels, wireless smartphone charging, sat-nav, blind spot detection, lane keep assist and a driver attention alert safety system. It's all standard, and is available with a range of diesel and petrol engine options, sitting above the Active and Allure models in the range.
The GT version comes with the top-spec diesel only, and also gets special 19-inch alloys, leather massage seats, a panoramic sunroof, adaptive cruise control and a foot-operated electric tailgate. You also get a sportier-looking grille and bumper design, GT (or GT Line) badging and wider wheel arches. Of course that distinctive Coupe Franche paint is available as an option, too.
The Peugeot 3008 GT and GT Line models will be available to order in November, with deliveries in the UK starting around January 2017.
