Peugeot’s GT Line spreads from 308 to 508 and RCZ
New GT Line trim will add sporty top-spec models to the Peugeot range
As the Peugeot 308 GT hits showrooms this month, buyers can get the look of the GT in more workaday 308 models in a new range-topping GT Line Trim. It’ll be available with everything from the 1.2-litre PureTech engines through to the BlueHDi diesels.
But Peugeot isn’t stopping there – the Peugeot RCZ and 508 will also soon be available in GT Line trim.
On the 308 and 308 SW, pretty much all of the GT’s visual drama features in the GT Line. So the Lion drops down from the bonnet into a new grille that now gets three horizontal bars, the front indicators feature scrolling LEDs, there are five spoke alloys, gentle sill extensions and tinted rear glass. At the back, the twin exhaust and black diffuser treatment is present, too.
Inside there’s plenty of red stitching, a beefed up steering wheel and half-Alcantara sports seats. As befits the range topper, the front seats get a massage function, too.
The new GT Line replaces the old Feline models in the 308 range and cost from £21,445 for the 1.2-litre Puretech version.
Later this year, both the 508 and RCZ ranges will get the GT Line treatment with similar sporty equipment additions to the 308 GT Line models. And at the end of the year, we expect the ultimate 308 to be unveiled – the 308 GTi.
