Smart ForTwo Grandstyle edition unveiled

Special edition Smart ForTwo Grandstyle revealed, wearing exclusive exterior and interior detailing

Smart has revealed a Grandstyle special edition of the Smart ForTwo city car. Available as both a 'coupe' with panoramic roof or 'cabrio' with a fully-automatic soft top, the Grandstyle features unique exterior touches and a new interior pack.

Based on the range-topping Passion spec, the Grandstyle is distinguished by exclusive 15-inch black alloy wheels, titanium headlight surrounds and Grandstyle badges. The special edition model also features LED daytime running lights and is available in five exterior colours.

Inside, the interior is trimmed in black Artico upholstery (artificial leather) and a new comfort package adds heated seats and electrically adjustable and heated door mirrors. A 6.5-inch touch screen with integrated sat nav, plus air conditioning is also fitted.

Engine options are carried over from the standard models, with the 71bhp or 84bhp 999cc three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engines available. Later this year we’re expecting the all-new Smart ForTwo to be introduced, which will use engines and a platform co-developed with Renault.

Prices for the Grandstyle special edition start from £10,330, with sales already underway.
