Suzuki starts 2018 with two new limited edition models, boasting additional kit and styling tweaks

Suzuki has revealed two new special edition cars for 2018, with limited edition options added to the Ignis and Vitara range.

The Ignis Adventure is a limited-run version of the standard mini-crossover, with a bulky appearance that features a rear spoiler and sporty red pinstripes drawn around the body, including red wing mirrors. It also boasts new front and rear skid plates, while four bodywork paint colour options are available.

The Ignis Adventure also gets with a rear view camera, 16-inch alloy wheels and a pair of roof rails. At £13,999, it’s £1,000 more expensive than the SZ-T model it’s based on, but Suzuki claims it features around £1,900 in additional equipment and styling options. Under the bonnet, it uses the same 1.2-litre, 89bhp petrol four-cylinder engine.

Meanwhile the, Vitara Kuro makes a return to the Vitara crossover range having first been introduced by Suzuki in 2015, priced at £18,749. A further 1,000 examples of the special edition front-wheel-drive Kuro will be built, which is powered by a 118bhp 1.4-litre four-pot. The Vitara Kuro sits on 17-inch black alloys that match the black rear spoiler, front bumper and front grille. The interior has also been given a similarly dark makeover.

Suzuki is floating both cars with some fresh PCP finance incentives. The Ignis Adventure is available for £159 per month on a 43-month contract with a £2,216 deposit required. The bigger Vitara Kuro is also available with a 43-month contract costing the customer £199 a month and £3,390 deposit.
