Known simply as the VW CC – which stands for 'Comfort Coupe', the latest four-door coupe from Volkswagen replaces the outgoing Passat CC.

The new model features revised styling and a high quality interior that continues the premium feel of the old model. It also has a huge 532-litre boot, with folding rear seats.

VW offer a range of petrol and diesel engines including the excellent 2.0-litre TDI diesel with either 138bhp or 168bhp. Standard equipment levels are generous too, even the entry-level models get sat-nav, Bluetooth and climate control.

Buyers have the choice of manual or DSG automatic transmissions with prices starting at around £24,000.
