Sony PSP

Price: £180 Memory: 32MB

If your children are into consoles, then the PSP will have them drooling. The graphics are amazing, sound through headphones and speakers impressive and we had no problems setting it up. Music and picture files are transferred via USB cable, but the memory card is disappointingly small – although it can be expanded with bigger cards. Videos come on discs and the pictures look stunning on the 3.7-inch display, but they’re expensive, at around £17 each.
