At £100 more than our Best Buy for only 200 watts extra continuous output, the 2800 doesn’t seem a great deal on paper. But the keen 5.5hp engine is mated to a big car-style silencer, which means it was very quiet. The unit is really aimed at industrial use, with 110 and 230-volt outputs. A 12-volt supply is also included for car kit.
