Maplin 5-in-1 Jumpstarter

Cheapest product on test wants for little in terms of spec, with an LED light, twin 12V and USB sockets, plus a 12V charging adaptor. Better still, it has a programmable compressor, complete with an accurate digital readout, and a hefty 17Ah battery – all in a reasonable 6.7kg package. But it doesn’t deliver on this promise: the leads are only 52cm long and it really struggled to start our car.
