F1 2011

Type: Simulator Available for: PS3, X360 Price: £37.99

A must-have for fans of Formula One. The realism in F1 2011 is second to none – all the drivers, weather conditions and tracks are recreated in minute detail, and the racing line dries up lap after lap in the wet. A split-screen multiplayer mode has been added, and you can select the safety car and full mechanical damage.

The game is also available for more than one console. Tricky to master, but it’s on par with WRC, and a useful rewind button lets you go back a few seconds – so you can ‘erase’ massive accidents. Still, we prefer Forza and GT5, as they’re easier to pick up and play.
