Aliph Jawbone ERA

Clever technology means the Jawbone only transmits audio when you’re talking, but there’s a high price to pay for this feature. The ERA looks good and, as you’d expect, wind noise was minimal – plus if you’re using it with an iPhone, an icon on the screen shows battery life. But the Aliph suffered in some crucial areas of our test. It’s not the easiest device to pair, while there’s no manual volume adjustment, either.
