Traxxas Bandit VXL

Price: £319.99 Contact: www.logicrc.com

The rear-wheel-drive Traxxas Bandit VXL has a brushless motor, and although it only comes with a Nickel Metal-Hydride (NiMh) battery, you can upgrade to Li-Po power – raising the top speed to 70mph. It’s quick, but as it’s so big, you won’t have as much fun extracting the power as with rivals. And for the same money, you can buy the 4WD Savage XS, which is better on grass.
