Former champion Ring settles for third as our pick of the smaller, glovebox-friendly units. Unlike rivals in this sector it has a USB socket. Its coiled lead is good for around 70cm. There were no problems with the items in our test kit although it struggled with all five at once. Restarted immediately when overloaded.
